CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) - Quaker Foods has restarted its Cedar Rapids plant and brought all of its 1,100-plus employees back to work in some capacity.

The return to work comes about three weeks after flooding of the Cedar River in June damaged the plant and railroad tracks leading to the facility. Trucks are now being used for grain and product shipments.

The Quaker plant is thought to be the nation's largest cereal mill.

Company spokeswoman Candace Mueller couldn't say when the plant will be back to full operation.
