Teen Killed in Moped Accident

IOWA FALLS - An Iowa Falls teen is dead after her moped collided with a car.

The Iowa State Patrol says Kimberly Newton, 15, died from injuries she suffered during Sunday's accident.

Newton was headed west on a street when she was hit by a car going north on a county road.

The driver of the car wasn't hurt. Authorities are still investigating.
