CEDAR RAPIDS - To rebuild, everything needs to be picked up. Too much work for any one person, according to flood victim Lisa Kuzela.

"It's just out of their goodness of every body's hearts, and their sweat and generosity that I'm going to be able to save my house," said Kuzela.

Volunteers from Castle Rock Community Church in New Orleans are helping Kuzela clean up.

Each one of their homes was hit by Hurricane Katrina, and then rebuilt with the help of volunteers. The process taught an important lesson.

"Hope has got to come from something other than stuff. So we're here to encourage people there's a living hope found in Christ. And that's why we're here mucking houses and hanging out with people, just being here," said Pastor John Gerhardt.

Not only do homes need to be rebuilt, but for some, faith in the world does too.

"The answers come, it's there. Be patient and in that patience depend upon a hope that's not built on this world, but it's built on something else," said Gerhardt.
