LINN COUNTY - Linn County Public Health say rural residents with wells in the flooded areas should keep boiling their drinking water.

At least one third of the private wells tested in rural areas showed signs of bacterial contamination from flooding.

Some measurable contamination is also showing up in rural aquifers not in areas impacted by flooding.
