Contact your county health department for a water testing kit if you are on a private well. If you are on a municipal water system, follow instructions for water use that are issued by each city or town.

Go to the Linn Co health dept on 13th st. NW across from Roosevelt school for a kit. Or, call them and they will come test the water for you, however they want you to chlorinate it first for a week before testing.
