WASHINGTON, D.C. - In the wake of last weekend's flooding, Iowa Congressman Bruce Braley is pushing for millions of dollars in federal help.

Braley called for $20 million in an amendment to a Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations bill approved by the House Thursday night.

The money would help communities across the Midwest dealing with flooding.

The bill now goes to a full Senate vote.
