2 Students Hurt in Tama County Bus Crash

TAMA COUNTY, Iowa -- A South Tama school bus rolled off a rural highway, injuring the driver and two students.

The Tama County Sheriff's Office tells TV9 the school bus went off the road near the intersection of O Avenue and Highway E43 but did not hit anything. The gravel road was soft from the recent rain, which may have contributed to the crash.

South Tama superintendent Kerri Nelson says the driver and two students had minor injuries and were treated and released at the scene.
