WATERLOO - In an effort to reduce the amount of vehicle traffic coming into downtown Waterloo for those persons that work at a downtown business, MET Transit is providing a free park and ride service effective Wednesday, June 11, 2008.

Persons are encouraged to park in either the West High School parking lot or the Logan Middle School parking lot and then ride the MET buses from that point to downtown Waterloo. For the commute into downtown, service will begin at 6:00 a.m. and run until 10:00 a.m., every half an hour. For the commute back home, MET will resume the service at 2:00 p.m. and run until 6:00 p.m., every half an hour. Once again, this is a free service provided by MET Transit.
