BLACK HAWK COUNTY - The Black Hawk County Emergency Management Agency recommends the evacuation of the Cedar Terrace Neighborhood in Southeast Waterloo.

This area impacts the residents living along the following streets:
Cedar Terrace
Ruby
Belle
Crestridge
Southcrest
Oakridge
Balsam
Rose
Juniper

People living in this neighborhood can find shelter at the West Gym on the University of Northern Iowa’s campus. Signs are out directing people to this shelter in Cedar Falls.

This evacuation order is only a recommendation. If you do evacuate, Black Hawk County Emergency Management Agency advises you take your medication, important personal papers as well as a change of clothes.
