Evacuation Routes for Waverly

AMES, Iowa – June 10, 2008 – 2:15 p.m. The Iowa Department of Transportation has established the following evacuation route for the city of Waverly.

For persons west of the Cedar River, take the U.S. 218/Iowa 27 bypass either northbound or southbound. If traveling southbound, you will be detoured into Waterloo due to other road closures. For persons on the east side of the Cedar River, go east on Iowa 3 to U.S. 63, then south on U.S. 63 to Waterloo.
