Heavy Rains Cause Roof Collapse, Street Flooding

JOHNSON COUNTY - Heavy rain is to blame for a roof collapse at Nagle Lumber on South Gilbert Street in Iowa City.

The rain also was responsible for flooding along many streets. Storm drains were unable to handle the downpour.

Water in those low-lying areas have now receded, but police are still reminding people not to take any flooded roads.
