(PARKERSBURG) - Mid-American energy crews have been on the scene in Parkersburg since the tornado hit late Sunday afternoon.

Many of the power lines leading into Parkersburg got knocked down or ripped out of the ground. 1220 people lost power and more than 150 crews will be working all night long to try and restore power to the people who still have homes in the town.

Right now they're focusing on installing new poles and lines. Mid-American doesn't expect to be able to restore anyone's power until Thursday.

That's because there is still so much work to do and lots of equipment that needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
