Fire Destroys Vacant Dubuque Home

DUBUQUE - An early morning fire destroyed a vacant home at 7th and Hill in Dubuque.

The call came in shortly before 4:00 a.m. Friday morning. The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office tells TV9 that the building was at least two stories high, but was vacant when officials arrived on scene.

It is believed to be a total loss because of the collapse. No word as to what caused the initial fire.

No injuries are reported. Fire crews left the scene sometime after 6 a.m.. Stay with KCRG-TV9 and KCRG.com for the latest on this story.
