Playboy Ranks Governor Culver One of Sexiest

By Becky Ogann

DES MOINES - Iowa Governor Chet Culver made the list. Playboy Radio's list of most "doable" governors and ex-governors, that is.

Culver came in at No. 4, behind President Bush's brother, Jeb Bush of Florida and Jennifer Granholm of Michigan. California's Arnold Schwarzenegger topped the list.

Playboy Radio asked a panel of "high-priced Los Angeles call girls" to rate the governors.

Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, who resigned over a prostitution scandal earlier this year, ranked last at 18th.

The Full List: courtesy Playboy Radio
1. Arnold Schwarzenegger (California)
2. Jeb Bush (Florida)
3. Jennifer Granholm (Michigan)
4. Chet Culver (Iowa)
5. Martin O’Malley (Maryland)
6. Deval Patrick (Massachusetts)
7. Ted Strickland (Ohio)
8. Sarah Palin (Alaska)
9. Bobby Jindal (Louisiana)
10. Mitch Daniels (Indiana)
11. Matt Blunt (Missouri)
12. John Hoeven (North Dakota)
13. Tim Kaine (Virginia)
14. Janet Napolitano (Arizona)
15. Jon Corzine (New Jersey)
16. Bill Richardson (New Mexico)
17. Mike Huckabee (Arkansas)
18. Eliot Spitzer (New York)

His pics don't do him justice, he is actually really cute in real life. I giggled when he shook my hand, seriously, he is kind of a stud.

Blindsided!....too funny All the Culver reign is doing is driving Seniors out of their homes. And certainly not fixing the streets and highways, why are they so bad in the first place? Substandard materials? I remember alot worse winters and alot better roads.

I havnt agreed with alot Chet has Done, but I still find this rather hilarious! hahaha. People take it easy, its all in good fun. You may not think hes the "sexiest" but they only had 50 govenors to choose from if you can count, and theres ones that look way worse. Would you prefer the list have the 80 some year old govenors at the top instead? Now thats gross!

I guess all of you complaining about taxes are against educating and providing medical care for children? What great citizens you are. What kind of society is unwilling to make sure children are cared for?

Did Playboy and Forbes get their wires crossed? Chet is more like the TAXIEST governor. Just what the needs - another excuse to think he deserves to tax our money away from us to fund his own whims.

OMG, I'd take Chet any day over Jeb!!! And yes, he does look a bit like Mr. Incredible:-) You go Chet!!!!!!!!!!!

I happen to think Culver is a terrible governor, and far from sexy, but this article is hillarious. I can't believe people are actually getting upset. Also, I concur on the fact that a fridge full of beer wouldn't be enough to do the two broads.

Hmmm, some UNhappy Iowans posting here! Sexy and governor do NOT belong in the same sentence! Please. Playboy must be mighty hard up for stories. Now that Jeb has soundly trashed Florida and Floridians would like to tar and feather this failed felon and lifelong womanizer, sexy is not how I would describe the 50 extra lbs. of blubber he is carrying these days! Culver couldn't touch the bad job Jeb did for eight long years!

Look around folks, it's not like Iowa is crawling with beautiful people. Chet Culver looks a lot better than most of you probably do.

Just too funny!! I cannot believe the people whjo actually take this type of news seriously and "get upset". I find it comical and something lighthearted to read. At least no one was "murdered, beat, raped, abused, drowned in a flood, or was sucked up into the earth by an earthquaken" in this article! Thank you for the comic relief ...

Thursday, May 15 at 5:23 PM No Moral Authority, BUT COME ON. wrote ...

With all the morality issues surrounding our current government, I find this "playful" piece a little concerning. Here we are entertaining the masses by making a list of the most do-able governors, and by a group of call girls no less? Disappointing KCRG. Extremely.

Thursday, May 15 at 5:17 PM ntnylyn wrote ...

What are they thinking? Are the call-girls blind. Chet Culver is not good looking at all. There have got to be better looking Governor's or even ex's that are better looking them him. This article just made my skin crawl.

Google a look at the two ladies 3 & 14. I don't know what kind of drugs/ booze the list makers were on but a 12 pack wouldn't even make them look sexy

Thursday, May 15 at 3:55 PM Anonymous wrote ...

How is that even possible, were they looking at old photos, because for the life of me, after googling some photos, I don't see it. I just, don't see it. But then again, if it's playboy they're looking for men who will probably die soon and can take over their estates, now that makes sense, all the taxes he gets from Iowans, he was voted doable because he'd probably keel over after the dirty deed. Get some exercise Chet, geez.
