DES MOINES (AP) - Governor Culver leaves later this week for China.

On Friday, he's leading a delegation representing 25 companies on a 10-day visit. He's hopeful the state can make inroads on expanding trade opportunities in agriculture and renewable energy.

The trip marks the 25th anniversary of Iowa's sister-state relationship with the Hebei Province.

Culver says the regions they're visiting were not affected by this week's massive earthquake.
