Yes, it is accessible to the public. South on Ivanhoe Rd (from Hwy 30 - going to Mt Vernon) and exactly 8 miles. It will be on your left. 2nd Saturday is a public night at the facility, usually starts at dusk. Visit www.cedar-astronomers.org for more information on the astronomy club and the site's resources.
