CEDAR RAPIDS - A local chess player just got back from playing a world champion chess player...in Bulgaria.

Jason Juett has been playing chess since he was five. His grandpa taught him to play.

Now, he's played, and forced Veselin Topalov into a draw, which means the game ends without a victory for either player.

Juett says, "I was really nervous. I don't think I've ever been so nervous to play chess before I had to play in front of a big crowd of people it was on the Bulgarian National T.V."

Juett got the honor by playing in an online tournament where he had to guess the bulgarian master's next move. Out of about 2,500 participants, he anticipated the moves best.

Juett says he has no intention of becoming a professional chess player.
