CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State is making more plans for
its football stadium.
The athletics department will ask the Iowa Board of Regents for
permission next week to spend $65 million for additional
improvements at Jack Trice Stadium.
The board meets next week in Cedar Falls.
According to regents documents, ISU wants to replace and expand
the south end zone seating area, build an upper deck, add premium
seating areas and make other upgrades.
A $19.5 million project now under way should be completed by
August.
That work includes 24 luxury suites, concession areas and
restrooms.
