Motorcycle Crashes After Police Pursuit

CEDAR RAPIDS - A motorcycle crashed into a truck while being pursued by police. It happened just after 9:15 Sunday Night at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 3rd Street Southwest. Cedar Rapids Police tell KCRG-TV 9 shortly before the accident an officer attempted to stop the motorcycle but it did not stop. The driver was taken away with serious injuries. The driver of the truck fled the scene. Police are still looking for that driver. The investigation continues.
