DAVENPORT (AP) - The CIETC trial contines in Davenport with more testimony about an affair between the former CEO of the job-training agency and a former board member.
Three former officials of the Central Iowa Employment and Training Consortium face federal charges related to $2 million in government funds allegedly spent on salaries and bonuses.
On trial are Karen Tesdell, Jane Barto and Dan Albritton.
Prosecutors say Albritton had an affair with CEO Ramona Cunningham. She was indicted, but her trial was delayed by a mental competency hearing.
Former CIETC employee Pamela Jones testified that Albritton and Cunningham lived together in Ankeny. Jones says she asked Cunningham about it and Cunningham said "he was gay." Cunningham later admitted having an affair.
Former board chairman Archie Brooks also testified that he had a sexual relationship with Cunningham.
Brooks and another CIETC executive, John Bargman, were indicted and testified as part of plea agreements.
