CEDAR RAPIDS – One man was injured after a near head-on collision west of 18th Street on Williams Blvd SW, authorities said.
Officials responded at about 12:30 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of 18th Street and Williams Blvd SW. According to officials, a vehicle traveling west on Williams Blvd SW hydroplaned or lost control, and crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound. The driver of the eastbound vehicle was taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was not transported to a hospital. No one else was injured.
