IOWA CITY - Tuesday would have been the oldest daughter, Mira Sueppel's, sixth birthday.

While no one may ever know exactly why this happened or what went through Steven Sueppel's mind, an entire community is lending support.

KCRG TV-9 Photojournalist Jonathon Gregg and News Operations Manager Kurt Sempf have collected some of the most powerful images of that support.
