Judge Moves Trial for Clinton Man Charged in Stabbing Death

By Becky Ogann

DUBUQUE (AP) - The trial for a Clinton man charged with second-degree murder has been moved from Dubuque County.

A judge granted the change of venue motion Tuesday in the case of Kenyatta Harlston Sr. He will now be tried April 14 in Black Hawk County for the Aug. 25 stabbing death of Nicholas Blackburn, 24.

According to court documents, Dubuque County District Judge Monica Ackley ruled that media coverage of the case tainted the jury pool and required the trial to be moved.
