Car Accident Turns Into Jail Time

IOWA CITY - It turned out to be a very bad day for an eastern Iowa man. It started with a car accident and ended with a trip to the Johnson County jail. Police had to arrest Donald Nichols. They found he had an outstanding warrant for traffic violations in Mount Pleasant. Then he allegedly ran away from the hospital and hid in someones home. Police found him and say he will be facing more serious charges than from the misdemeanor traffic issues.
