Fire Damages Daycare Center in Van Meter

DES MOINES (AP) - Fire has damaged a daycare center in Van Meter in central Iowa.

The fire at the Country Kids Club was reported about 4:45 a.m. on Monday. No injuries were reported.

There was no immediate word on the extent of the damages. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Van Meter is about 20 miles west of Des Moines.
