Business Fire Breaks Out in TraerBy Josh Hinkle, Anchor/Reporter
TRAER - Firefighters battled a blaze at a major employer in Traer. They responded to Clearline Cutlery just after noon. Three departments were called to the scene, including Traer, Clutier, and Dysart.
Clearline specializes in aluminum handle cutlery and employs more than 30 people. The 30-year-old business is located in a 30-thousand square-foot building at 1561 S. Main St. in Traer. Firefighters tell TV9 the fire started in a dust-catching room and that paramedics are also at the scene. No word on any injuries at this time.
