ALTOONA (AP) - Authorities are investigating an explosion
at an Altoona business.
Police say they received a call at 12:40 p.m. Friday, reporting an explosion at Peterbilt of Des Moines, a truck repair company.
Officers say they found the east and north sides of the building
badly damaged.
Two employees were injured. One was taken to a nearby hospital with minor burns and the other was treated at the scene.
MidAmerican Energy Spokesman, Mark Reinders, says it may have been caused by a natural gas leak on Peterbilt's property.
Reinders says MidAmerican is working with fire officials in the investigation.
Peterbilt officials were unavailable for comment.
No other details have been released.
