Iowa Republican Party Event to Air on C-SPAN

DES MOINES - An event featuring Iowa's six potential candidates for Governor will be televised nationally on C-Span.

The November 7th Iowa Republican Party event will be headlined by Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty.

Pawlenty is frequently mentioned as a potential 2012 presidential candidate, and this will be his first Iowa appearance
since the general election.

Seven Republicans are considering a run for Iowa Governor.

They are Jerry Behn, Terry Branstad, Christian Fong, Christopher Rants, Rod Roberts and Bob Vander Plaats and terry Branstad.
