Free H1N1 Walk-In Clinic Friday in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS - Linn County Public Health (LCPH) will be holding a free H1N1 walk-in clinic for all populations on Fri., Jan. 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the LCPH building located at 501 13th St NW.
This free clinic will be for all ages, including children under 10 years of age who have received the initial H1N1 vaccine and are required to have a second vaccination at least 28 days later. Older adults and others to whom the vaccine has recently become available are encouraged to come and be vaccinated. Ethnic populations are also welcomed; materials in various languages and translators will be available for assistance. The H1N1 vaccine will be completely free.
“The community is doing a great job in following the Three C’s – Cover your cough, Clean your hands and Contain germs by staying home when ill ” says Curtis Dickson, Director Linn County Public Health. “The community is also doing a great job understanding the importance of receiving the H1N1 vaccine. Stop by this Friday and receive your free H1N1 vaccine”
This H1N1 clinic is free and offered to the general public – no appointment is necessary.
• Fri., Jan. 22, will be walk-in only and will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Linn County Public Health building – 501 13th St NW

• We will have interpreters on site for various ethnic populations
