Black Hawk County Adult Among Latest Victims of H1N1

DES MOINES - The H1N1 flu claimed the lives of two more Iowans.

The Iowa Department of Public Health said on Wednesday that an adult in Cerro Gordo County and an adult in Black Hawk County have both died from complications of H1N1.

Both had risk factors that increased their chances of complications.

This is the 40th H1N1 related death in Iowa.

More than 700 Iowans have been hospitalized.
