Cedar Rapids — The H1N1 clinic to be held this Sunday November 15th from 1-5 p.m. at the Community Health Free Clinic located at 947 14th Ave SE. is now full. The clinic is not taking any more phone calls for appointments.

Linn County Public Health started taking appointments Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. and by Wednesday afternoon filled the 816 available appointments.

Linn County Public Health will be holding another public H1N1 vaccination clinic in early December, but no dates have been finalized yet. The date and location will be announced as soon as we have adequate vaccine to hold another large clinic.

The H1N1 vaccine is still in short supply. The best defense before and after you are vaccinated is to practice the three C’s. Cover your cough, Clean your hands, & Contain the germs.
