Time for an update on the latest happenings!

As many of you know, the past few weeks had been consumed with breaking news and trying to fit in a busy life around it all.

 I took a much needed trip out to Los Angeles. It’s funny, I lived there for 3 years, and have never seen more celebrities in such a short time span as I did the 3 days I was there. I went out to visit my sister Piper (she’s a singer, songwriter, model, music industry-uuber connected person). In general, she’s awesome. Anyway, she and my friend Kelly decided it’d be great to go to ‘The Chateau’ to celebrate my birthday.  That’s right, the Chateau Marmont, where celebrities like Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and the likes have stayed in between houses, or just to party.

Anyway, the three of us gals arrived at 9:45 (fashionably late for our 9:30 dinner reservation!) and were seated outside on the Patio.  And immediately, I hear my sister gasp. “That’s Robert Downey Junior!” We look across the courtyard, and indeed, it was him! Needless to say, three girls in their 20’s? We were gushing. We pretty much did everything besides jump over the bushes and run over to ask for an autograph. Nice thought, huh? Anyway, that was awesome.

Then, I recognized Jonny Lee Miller from the ABC show Eli Stone. He’s the former Mr. Angelina Jolie (they were hitched years and years ago). Follow that up with a sighting of Seth Rogen from Knocked Up and Robbie Williams (the singer).  Plus, we thought the Kardashians were at the club, Villa, that we went to afterward. Craziness!

My sister and I also went shopping at “The Grove”  and ran into JC Chasez from *N SYNC.

Then on Saturday night, we went out to dinner at a ritzy Beverly Hills Restaurant, Mr. Chow’s. Not only was the atmosphere bustling and exciting, but immediately knew something big was happening because we walked right past paparazzi on the way in.

Turns out, we were right. Seated immediately behind us? Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden! Then when we got outside, I was talking to one of the photographers, and she said not only were the two of them inside, but Randy Jackson from American Idol, and Celine Dion were also inside! Needless to say, and exciting night out with my sis!

So all in all, it’s a trip for the record books. So much fun in a short 3 days.  I also am already plotting my next trip to sunny SoCal!
