DUBUQUE, Iowa - A Dubuque man has been arrested after authorities uncovered a marijuana growing operation in his home.
Dennis L. Maas was arrested Thursday for manufacturing marijuana. The Dubuque Drug Task Force and the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement executed a search warrant at his home on 2823 White Street.
Investigators found a marijuana growing operation in the basement of the home. They seized 44 marijuana plants, ranging in size from four inches to 64 inches tall. Investigators, also found items and equipment commonly used to grow marijuana.
According to authorities, Maas posted bond. A court date has not been set. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.
