DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa - An early-morning fire destroyed a Worthington home.

Around 3:35 a.m. Sunday, multiple fire departments responded to a house fire at 205 1st Street South, Worthington. The home was a total loss, with damage estimated at $200,000.

Sheriff's deputies said no one was home at the time of the fire. The Red Cross is helping the family. The investigation was continuing.
