IOWA CITY, Iowa - An Iowa City woman is accused of child endangerment and criminal mischief after police say she intentionally hit a man's car while her four children were in the back seat.

Complaints from the Iowa City police department said Patricia Hernandez-Gamon, 31, followed the man and his current girlfriend to the area of 171 Highway 1 W. on Sunday, where she rammed her car into his unoccupied car.

A 13-year-old, 9-year-old 8-year-old and 3-month-old child were in the car at the time of the incident, and the person who called in the accident expressed concern for them to dispatchers.

The complaint said the damage done to each of the cars combined was $10,000.

Hernandez-Gamon was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, a class C felony, and four counts of child endangerment without injury, an aggravated misdemeanor. The complaint said Hernandez-Gamon admitted to the incident.
