Waterloo Police Search for Shooting Suspect

WATERLOO, Iowa - Police in Waterloo are searching for a man who they suspect is responsible for a shooting this weekend. They are looking for 43-year-old Willie Guyton Jr.

Police responded to 426 Ricker Street for a shooting just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday. They found 42-year-old Carlos Calhoun who had been shot in the shoulder, wrist and head. Calhoun was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Waterloo officials have arrest warrants for Guyton. He is being charged with Willful Injury, Possession of Weapons as a Felon, Going Armed with Intent, and Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon.

Anyone with information on Guyton's whereabouts is asked to call either the Waterloo Police or the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers.
