Waterloo Police Make Arrest in 2012 Robbery

WATERLOO, Iowa - The Waterloo Police Department made an arrest Tuesday night in a nearly year-old robbery.

According to a press release, members of the department's Violent Crime Apprehension Team and Tactical Unit served a search warrant at 927 Mulberry Street after learning 36-year-old Terence L. Walker was hiding out there. Walker was wanted for the October 2012 robbery of the New Star Liquor Store.

Walker was found in the residence and taken into custody. He was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail where he was booked on one count of first-degree robbery. He remains in custody on a $250,000 bond.
