Waterloo Police Investigate Morning Shooting

WATERLOO, Iowa -- Police are investigating an early morning shooting that wounded a Waterloo man.

Police responded to reports of shots fired around 9:50 am Friday in the area of Randolph and West 8th Street.

Police found 20 year-old Ronald Alston at his home with a bullet wound to the leg. Alston was taken to the hospital but is expected to be ok.

Police are still investigating the shooting and have not made any arrests.
