Two Arrested Following String of Vandalism

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Cedar Falls Police have arrested two men following multiple reports of vandalism.

More than 25 reports of vandalism were made to the Cedar Falls Police Department on Sunday. They include broken car, business and residential windows.

On Sunday, police charged Alexander Pothast, 20, of Clarksville and Blake Burkle, 20, of Waverly for second degree criminal mischief, a class D felony. Both men were taken to the Black Hawk County Jail.

Police believe the men used a sling shot to shoot marbles through the windows. The investigation is ongoing as reports continue to be made.
