HILLS, Iowa – Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies have made three arrests in connection with a possible meth lab. Officers arrived at 309 Washington Street in a residential neighborhood of Hills this morning.

Investigators said they received a tip about the alleged meth house yesterday, the caller suspected manufacturing at the home.

Sheriff’s deputies found evidence inside the house suggesting such activity. Investigators said they found generators, Sudafed, lithium and methamphetamine.

Plastic bottles used to manufacture the drug were also confiscated this morning.

Deputies said an elderly couple owns the home, though their son lives in the basement.

Officers suspect that the manufactures both used and sold the drug out of the home.

The names of the three allegedly involved in the case will be released later today.

Officers said this case is an ongoing criminal, meth house investigation.
