Reward Offered For Information In Fort Dodge Shootings
FORT DODGE, Iowa (AP) — Authorities in Fort Dodge are offering a $500 reward for information about those responsible for Christmas Eve shootings that left three people injured.
Police Chief Tim Carmody announced Tuesday the award will go to "the person who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction" of anyone involved.
The Messenger reports that within a three-hour time span, officers responded to several reported shootings.
A 23-year-old woman told that authorities she was shot in the hip while walking. After that, officers found a 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old man who were shot at a residence. All injuries were not life-threatening.
Investigators believe the shootings may be linked.
Carmody says he's confident witnesses have information that "would help bring closure to the victims that have been targeted and their families."
