Police Say Woman Attacked Officers At Des Moines Airport
DES MOINES, Iowa A 28-year-old woman is facing a laundry list of charges after assaulting several Des Moines police officers at the Des Moines International Airport Wednesday afternoon.
Witnesses told police Ann Marie Clark, of Story City, started yelling and cursing when an airline employee tried to stop her from boarding a United Airlines flight.
Mark McKain, a United supervisor, said he believed Clark was too intoxicated to be allowed on board.

The officers eventually were able to put handcuffs on Clark. She was taken to the Polk County Jail.
Clark was charged with public intoxication, two counts of assault on a police officer, one count of assault on an officer causing bodily injury, interference and disorderly conduct.
