Police: Man Tried to Burn Baby

WATERLOO, Iowa - A Waterloo man was arrested on charges he put his nine-month-old baby in scalding hot water.

Waterloo Police said Justin Robinson, 26, was taking care of the baby at his home on the 200 block of Virden Street on May 23rd when the incident occurred. The baby suffered severe burns. He's being treated at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Robinson is charged with child endangerment causing bodily injury. He remained in the Black Hawk County Jail.
