Officers Looking for Armed Robbery Suspects
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids Police are looking for the suspects involved in an alleged armed robbery. Officers responded to the Family Dollar store at 2325 Mount Vernon Rd. SE just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
An employee at the store said two men entered the store and demanded cash. One of the men allegedly showed a handgun. The employee said both men were wearing dark clothes and had their faces covered. The suspects reportedly fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. Several officers and a K9 unit searched the neighborhood around the store but were unable to locate the suspects. The employee was not injured in the robbery. The case remains under investigation. Most Popular |
