DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) — A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a bank robbery in Davenport.

Officers were sent to the Northwest Bank branch around 12:45 p.m. Monday. Police say a man had given a note to a teller that demanded cash and said, "Be calm or else."

Police say a man who matched a description given by bank employees soon was arrested about two blocks from the bank branch. Officers say he had bank cash on him.

He was identified as Arnordo Turner.

Turner remains in Scott County Jail. Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.
