Man Pleads Not Guilty In Davenport Stalking Case

By Richard Pratt

DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) — A 36-year-old man has pleaded not guilty in Davenport to a felony charge of stalking.

The Quad-City Times says Jeffrey Graves, of Moline, Ill., also is charged with harassment, domestic abuse and of violating a no-contact order.

Court records say a woman told a Davenport detective that Graves had held her against her will and assaulted her. The woman also says Graves threatened to kill her by injecting her with drain cleaner and threatened to cut off her children's heads.

The court records say Graves has called the woman several dozen times while in jail awaiting trial.
