OGDEN, Iowa (AP) — A 28-year-old man has been charged with killing his wife in the central Iowa city of Ogden.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says Josh Powell was arrested Sunday after Ogden officers went to the home he shared with his wife, 25-year-old Jacalyn Powell.
Investigators say Josh Powell called 911 around 10 a.m. Sunday to report that his wife was dead. Court records say Josh Powell reported that he and his wife had fought the night before and that he'd struck her.
Josh Powell is being held in Boone County Jail on $2 million bail. Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.
