Johnson County Chase Ends After Possible Gun Incident
NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa - One person is in custody after a brief police chase through Johnson County. The person was taken into custody after stopping their vehicle at the corner of Penn and Hodge Streets in North Liberty shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
A Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputy said an investigation is open into whether or not the person fired a gun out of the vehicle. The deputy didn’t say when investigators believe the gun may have been fired, but said the individual never shot at him. Officers from North Liberty assisted in the chase.
