NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa - One person is in custody after a brief police chase through Johnson County. The person was taken into custody after stopping their vehicle at the corner of Penn and Hodge Streets in North Liberty shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
A Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputy said an investigation is open into whether or not the person fired a gun out of the vehicle. The deputy didn’t say when investigators believe the gun may have been fired, but said the individual never shot at him.
