Iowa Man Arrested In Illinois Shooting Death
DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) — A Davenport man has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the death of a Rock Island, Ill., man.
The Quad-City Times reports that the shooting death of a 24-year-old man occurred around noon Wednesday in a Rock Island house. By Wednesday night, Davenport police had arrested 20-year-old Aaron Derrell Henderson in the case.
Henderson is charged in a warrant with first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery. He is being held on a $1 million cash-only bond. Authorities say they expect Henderson to be extradited to Illinois soon.
Authorities have not named the man killed, pending notification of his family.
