Iowa Drug Task Force Finds 10 lbs of Meth in Hotel
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (AP) — Iowa authorities say a drug task force found nearly 10 pounds of methamphetamine worth more than $476,000 at a Marshalltown hotel.
The Marshalltown Times-Republic reports that deputies with the Mid-Iowa Drug Task arrested two men during the raid.
Sixty-eight-year-old Ramon Cavillo-Cardenas, of Fontana, Calif., and 41-year-old Rigoberto Martinez-Miss, of Riverside, Calif., were arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and related offenses.
In addition to the meth, officials also seized documents, a pickup and more than $4,000 in cash.
The men made their initial court appearances Friday and are being held on $100,000 bail each.
