CLINTON, Iowa (AP) — An Iowa couple are scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 21 for stealing jewelry from a DeWitt residence.

The Clinton Herald says Thomas and Tiffany Meier have pleaded guilty to felony theft and could be given up to five years in prison.

Court documents say Thomas Meier took several rings between December 2012 and May 2013 from the DeWitt residence. He then gave the rings to his wife, who pawned them.
